New Canaan-Darien Magazine

<p>Moffly Media describes its publications as "must-read luxury magazines that target the affluent residents of the towns they serve, offering the highest quality coverage in society, dining, travel, fashion, and premium goods and services."</p> <p>The company publishes New Canaan-Darien Magazine, Greenwich Magazine, Westport Magazine, AtHome and Stamford. Each magazine has a sub-section on the company's Web site, with glossy photos and categories for food and drink, fashion, home and garden and a detailed calendar of events.</p> <p>In the past, that was a solid formula for money-making in the affluent communities along Connecticut's southern coast, but a stalled  economy has forced the company to retrench somewhat, laying off 18 of 51 staffers last November and reducing publication for New Canaan-Darien Magazine to bi-monthly from monthly.</p>
