New Canaan Diner is an old-fashioned, family-style eating establishment in the heart of downtown. The 1950s-style diner, which opened in December 2009, caters to a steady stream of regulars from sunrise through the wee hours of the night. The menu is extensive and portions are generous. Its owners, the Giapoutzises, also own the Darien Diner and the Post Road Diner in Norwalk.
