<p>Established in 1960, the New Canaan Nature Center is a non-profit organization that provides New Canaan community members with the opportunity to appreciate and learn more about their environment. The 40 acres of land includes a variety of attractions such as the Maple Syrup Shed, Butterfly Field, Birds and Prey Exhibit, and a 4000-square-foot greenhouse.</p>
<p>The New Canaan Nature Center also hosts birthday parties, summer camps and educational programs. Visit the center's Web site for more information.</p>
