The Barn also sponsors “Art in the Windows” which places art in retail stores for the enjoyment of New Canaan residents. All artwork in its exhibits is for sale and a percentage of sales directly supports the Carriage Barn.

Programs include the team sports of Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Flag Football, Softball, Field Hockey and Tennis, plus individual instruction in Golf, Soccer, Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Running/XC, Swimming, Exercise, Diving, Guitar, and Field Hockey. Educational programs in Science, Nature, Magic and Computers along with Summer Day Camps for children and special events round out the offerings. New Canaan also has many public spaces and facilities available for the enjoyment of all, including Waveny House, Waveny Pool, Platform Tennis Courts, Mead Tennis Courts, Spencer’s Run, Kiwanis Park and the Waveny Park and Irwin Park hiking trails.
