The Darien Chamber of Commerce is an evolving non-profit, member supported business alliance whose mission is to take a leadership role in strengthening the business community to enhance the quality of life in Darien.  The Darien Chamber was founded in 1957 and has, since its inception, m promoted economic growth and entrepreneurial spirit with providing a forum for business-to-business referral and interaction.

The Darien Chamber is a key liaison linking the Darien business community to local, state and federal government.  It provides networking, marketing and business education for members and creates a public awareness of the Darien business community. In addition, the Darien Chamber positively promotes the town to prospective residents and businesses through its website, marketing and timely response to inquiries regarding housing, employment opportunities, schools, transportation, recreation and other local resources.
