Glen - Here's an idea. Why don't you have a Patch reporter post the story of your miserable life and what your problems are and why you think somebody somewhere owes you something? That way, it's all out there for the world to see and you can stop making every story on here your personal comment pity party. There is nobody reading comments on Patch that can do a damn thing about your life - except for you. I, for one, am taking a break from Patch and will get my local news from an alternate site because I am SO very tired of your constant whining.

Glen - You are clearly in need of psychiatric help. There is no fairy princess or "system" that is going to knock on your door to change your life. All of your posts touch upon what the world at large owes you or that your mother is ruining your life. If your wife needs a job, tell her to use the system that everyone else uses, which is to get out and find one. If you need FREE dog care advice, then go to the library and take out a book on the subject. If your mother needs more help than you have time to give, then contact social services or Staying Put on her behalf. Nobody can force you to do things you don't want to do unless they are holding a gun on you which is doubtlessly not the situation with your elderly mother. The world doesn't owe you a favor. If you are unhappy in your life then it is up to you, and only you, to change it. There is help out there for people in need but you need to seek it out. It is not coming to find you. Whining on Patch is going to get you nowhere. Take the time you waste complaining about your life and make some changes.
