After graduating summa cum laude from Kolbe Academy,  I received the prestigious four-year Leadership Scholarship to the University of Connecticut where I am an English major.

Currently active in the Dickens Fellowship of New York and the Friends of Dickens New York as a moderator and participant, I meet with teachers, professors and other Dickens enthusiasts to discuss and commemorate the life and works of this renowned author. In 2011 and 2012, I was an Author on Stage at the New Canaan Library.  I aspire to earn a Ph.D. in Literature or a S.J.D. in Law.

As a member of the Association of Literary Scholars, Critics and Writers (ALSCW), I attend conferences with authors, professors, publishers and editors. My extracurricular activities include performing community service, listening to baroque and classical music through the Waveny Chamber Music Society, attending performances at the Power House Theatre in Waveny Park, being a member of the Memoir Writing Workshop at The New Canaan Library and writing for New Canaan Patch.
