The New Canaan community came together Monday to honor, remember and pay respect to those who have served and those who continue to do so during the town's annual Veteran's Day ceremonies.
Hosted on God's Acre, town officials, emergency responders and veterans gathers to pay respects to service men and women of the United States and those from New Canaan in particular.
The guest speaker for the ceremony was the New Canaan Advertiser's Julie Butler, mother to Marine Staff Sgt. Blake Flannery.
