The Mansion's Holiday Reception
The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum's Board of Trustees will hold a Holiday Reception, which will be open to the public and feature the exhibits, A Grand Display of Holiday Traditions: Victorian Era Presents and Decorations, curated by Raechel Guest, and Two Connecticut Painters: From Impressionism to Regionalism, co-curated by Leigh Grant and Gail Ingis-Claus.
Sponsored by MF DiScala and PB Architects, the Mansion’s Reception will feature pianist Peter DeMarco performing Broadway classics and holiday standards. Guests will be able to walk around throughout the first floor of the Museum and view the contemporary decorations and the two exhibits currently on view. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and desserts generously provided in part by Outdoor Cookers and Garelick & Herbs. $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
Cultural and educational programs at the Museum are made possible in part by generous funding from LMMM's distinguished benefactors: Xerox, Klaff's, Mrs. Cynthia C. Brown, and The Maurice Goodman Foundation.
