New Canaan Police issued a misdemeanor to a woman they caught with her pants down, literally and figuratively, after police discovered her self-pleasuring before curfew hit at a nearby treatment facility.
Authorities said they happened to spot a female in the rear of her vehicle while on patrol in the area of Millport Avenue and East Avenue on Sunday, October 13, at 10:35 p.m. Officers stopped and discovered who they identified as Kathryn Kalikow, 27, of New York City, NY, in the rear seat of the car. She was working to put her pants back on, police said.
According to authorities, officers asked if she was in some sort of distress. They said she explained she was a resident of the nearby facility and told the officers masturbation was restricted at the center, so she would regularly find some alone time in her vehicle before curfew.
Police charged the woman with public indecency, a misdemeanor, and released her on a Promise To Appear in lieu of bond. She was issued a Norwalk court date of October 23, 2013.
