Reknown Counselor Speaks about Family Coping Skills for Life in the Fast Lane

On March 28, author and family counselor Tim Smith will return to the east coast to lead a town-wide workshop for parents entitled “Simple Solutions for Families in the Fast Lane” from 7:00-9:00pm at The Outback Teen Center in New Canaan.

Smith, a parent of two daughters with a MA in Counseling, is familiar and has daily experience with the challenges of families. He is a popular conference speaker and President of Life Skills for American Families - a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the family.

On the 28th, Smith will discuss how as families become increasingly busier most of us feel that this increases stress and puts strains on relationships. But through discussing some of their issues, many active families have discovered a rhythmic pace – a heartbeat that works for them. Simple Solutions for Families is a forum that listens to each family’s personalized “pulse” and develops a routine that benefits each member.
