Snow in the Forecast

If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute. Snow, rain, sleet..and by week's end, some sun.

March can’t make up its mind, weather-wise.

According to a National Weather Service Hazardous Weather Outlook for New Canaan, Tuesday’s clear skies will give way to rain starting sometime after 11 p.m. tonight. The rain will turn to snow overnight.

The snow is expected to end by 11 a.m., Wednesday morning, and will be followed by rain which will be followed by…more snow. Wednesday’s high will be 38.

The forecast for Wednesday night is for “snow and sleet before 8 p.m, then rain, snow and sleet.”  Accumulation of this precipitation is expected to be about 1-2 inches.

The NWS says we can expect snow showers before 8 a.m. Thursday morning, followed by a cloudy day with a high near 41. Thursday’s snow accumulation will be less than a half inch.
