Police Blotter: Twins Arrested; Y Locker Theft
A pea coat and cell phone are missing, and sisters have been charged with disorderly conduct.
Twin Sisters Arrested after Family Dispute:
Twin sisters, Elizabeth and Katherine Hanson, 19, were arrested for disorderly conduct shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 following a verbal argument.
The New Canaan Police Department received a call from the sisters' mother and police reported to the home on River Street.

The Hanson sisters were given a misdemeanor summons at the scene on a promise to appear in court the next day.

Cell Phone, Pea Coat Stolen from YMCA Locker:
A 20-year-old female from Wilton reported two items stolen from her locker in the women's locker room at the New Canaan YMCA on Jan. 5 at 4:53 p.m.
The complainant reported a Samsung cell phone valued at $100 and a grey pea coat valued at $50 stolen from her locker, which was not locked. The cell phone was in the pocket of the coat.
She said she arrived at the YMCA at approximately 2:30 p.m. and returned a few minutes after 4 p.m. to find the cell phone and coat missing.
The theft is under investigation.
