Police: Speed, Alcohol Factors in Fatal May Crash

A young driver was killed on Ponus Ridge.

New Canaan police said “vehicle speed and the presence of alcohol” in the driver’s system were on Ponus Ridge last May.

According to police, , 28, of New Canaan, was alone in the car when he was killed in the on the evening of May 13.

Sgt. Carol Ogrinc said New Canaan and Wilton Police Departments conducted the investigation, which is now closed.
