State Reps To Hold Informational Forum on Legislative Changes

State Reps. Toni Boucher, John Hetherington and Gail Lavielle will hold an open informational forum to discuss and explain tax and legislative changes made during the session that just ended.

During this session, the General Assembly narrowly passed a budget proposed by Governor Dannel Malloy that will take effect on July 1. It includes a whole list of new and increased taxes, some of which are retroactive to January 1 of this year and will be reflected in paycheck withholding amounts before the end of the summer. Families and business owners may want to know more about how this new budget will affect them.

The informational forum will also address other major legislation raised during the session.
